Using taketake
taketake makes photos and videos of your software in the browser. It is run by taketake ("we"). By using it you agree to these terms. How we handle your data is in the privacy policy.
Your content stays yours
The images and videos you add, and the photos and videos you make, belong to you. Only add content that you have the right to use. When you save a project to your account, we store its files only to give them back to you on your devices.
Your account
An account is yours alone: keep the email address you sign in with secure, because anyone who can read it can sign in. You can delete your account in the menu at any time.
The Free plan is for personal use. A paid plan includes a licence to use what you make commercially. Each plan has limits on projects, captures and recordings; the Pricing panel in the menu shows them.
Fair use
Don't use taketake to break the law or to harm others, and don't try to disrupt it, get around its limits or reach other people's content. We may suspend an account that does.
Paid plans
Paid plans are billed in advance, each month or each year, in US dollars, through Stripe. A plan renews by itself until you cancel it. The Pricing panel shows the current prices. When you change plans, Stripe charges or credits the difference for the time left.
Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel at any time under Manage plan in the Pricing panel. Your plan then stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and the account returns to the Free plan. Deleting your account cancels the plan at once.
If you are not happy with a paid plan, write to contact@taketake.app within 14 days of your first payment for it and we refund that payment in full. Renewals and later payments are not refunded, except where the law gives you that right.
No guarantee
We work to keep taketake running and your work safe, but we provide it as it is: we don't promise that it is always available or free of errors, so keep your own copies of what matters. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for lost work or indirect losses. Nothing here takes away rights the law gives you as a consumer.
Changes
When these terms change, the date at the top changes with it. Questions: write to contact@taketake.app.
